When designing a new collection, we always start with a word or a feeling. Although we strive to create beautiful physical objects, we are interested in adding a level of emotion into the product. We want to create lamps that will illuminate the features of your loved ones and the words of your favourite author, accessories you can mix in alongside your own personal treasures and pieces of furniture that will enrich your life through both function and form. We always work to balance our collection between the calm and beautiful – pieces that are easy on the eye and soothing to look at – and the more artistic and whimsical, because life itself is a balance between chaos and calm.

When exploring the different rooms – from the kitchen to the kids’ room – you’ll find that it’s not only filled with the ferm LIVING collection, but also books, vintage finds, plants and small, thoughtful details that help to communicate the ferm LIVING story.
